It's a beautiful day in Central PA on the first day of our six-day cross-country RV trip to Seattle. Nice and cool and it looks like most of the storms have passed. Joining us on this trip are me (Becca), Jake, our son Mason, my mom Betty and my brother Myles. There are also various furry creatures coming along, whom I will introduce later on in our story. Finally, are our two brave and enduring vehicles - Gearhardt (black SUV) and Mama Hippo aka Devil Pig (RV).

We're in the process of finishing up the packing and trying to figure out where everything is going to fit, both the breathing and the inanimate. Seriously, you do not know how much CRAP you have until you try to load it into one SUV and take it across the country. It's amazing to discover what becomes expendable!
The driver of the SUV won't have a rear view, but then neither will the driver of the RV...
And for my friend Kim, so she can rest assured that Sister Mohawk is by our side and guiding us once again, here she is. I will be sure to post a video of her antics later - they're quite impressivefor a Kung Fu hamster who is pushing 15 years old.
For now, I'll get back to packing and giving the dogs a last romp in the backyard. Our first leg today is Mifflintown, PA to Cincinnati, OH. We'll post our trip tik at some point as well, for those of you who are interested. But our intention is to arrive in Seattle on June 20th. Wish us luck! We''ll keep you all updated on our progress!
Love,
Becca and the Menagerie

Best wishes! We rented an RV once and drove it to FL and back. We did it ONCE but we had a blast :-P
